Y6 Heart Dissection
Today Y6 walked down to Our Lady's High School where we had a Science lesson. We watched Mrs Webber dissect a lamb's heart and learnt so much information about the heart's chambers. We were able to touch the heart and ask Mrs Webber questions about our topic too.
Y6 Gymnastics
In our PE lessons we have focused on balances. Next week, we will choose our own equipment and begin to create a routine including balancing and travelling.
Year 5 and 6 Chess
Some of the children in Year 5 and 6 have been enjoying weekly chess club led by Colin and Jill. We have been busy practising tonight in an extra after school session for our chess competition against Highfield next week!
Freezing and Melting

When we got to school this morning, the playground was covered in snow. We decided to make the most of it. We wrapped up, went straight out and had fun. We threw snowballs and built mini-snowmen.
