Reception had a fantastic “Holiday Day”. The children came dressed for a holiday and arrived at school with their bag packed. We got to the hall and we were transported to the airport! The children enjoyed lots of airport related activities including checking their bag in, filling in boarding passes and stamping them, going through “security” and finding their seat on the plane! During our “flight” the children enjoyed making their own drinks and having their fruit. In the afternoon Reception enjoyed their holiday. The children pretended they were at the beach when playing in a giant sand pit. They also enjoyed the paddling pool, building tents and dens, and playing beach games with the parachute. A highlight was the sprinkler which the children enjoyed running through. We then finished the day with ice pops!
