We had a fantastic visit to Smithills Open Farm, despite the very wet weather. All the children were amazing and found out lots of information about the animals. We were able to feed the farm animals, go on a tractor ride and hold or stroke lots of very cute baby animals. The children looked closely at the animals, recognising similarities and differences between and we also found out about what they eat. Everyone had a donkey ride, which judging from the smiley faces, was enjoyed by all!
