Our school is a happy hard working community in which staff, parents, pupils and parishioners take pride.

We primarily serve the parish of Our Lady & St. Edward’s with a number of children coming from the surrounding districts.  Many of our families attend church on a regular basis and are very actively involved in the life of the parish.  School and parish enjoy close links.

Our parents are very supportive of the work of the school and our pupils are enthusiastic and well motivated.  Visitors often comment on the warm friendly atmosphere in the school.

The school is situated in a pleasant suburb to the north of Preston, close to the M6 and M55 Motorway junction. The building dates from the 1960’s and has been extended and modernised in recent years.  It is light and open with bright classrooms overlooking extensive playing fields and a garden area.

Prospective parents are welcome to make an appointment via Mrs Kippax, in the school office, to meet staff and look round the school.
