The Governing Body
The Governors who meet, at least once a term, have a range of responsibilities for the school including:
- Appointing staff and determining pupil admissions.
- The curriculum, school policies, school hours and holidays.
- The financial management of the school.
- The school building and grounds.
Foundation governors are appointed by the Catholic Diocese of Lancaster.
There are two Parent Representatives on the Governing Body elected by the parents every four years. There is also a Local Authority Representative as well as two staff representatives, teaching and none teaching.
