Parking Pledge

In consultation with the local Policy Community Beat Officers, representatives of the PTA and our pupils we have designed this parking pledge which we hope you will subscribe to.

OLSE’s parking pledge

In the interests of everyone’s safety we agree to:

• Keep to the parking restrictions – zig-zag and double yellow lines
• Keep the pathways clear for pedestrians – a double buggy’s width
• Keep the roads clear – refrain from parking on both sides of the roads
• Keep neighbouring driveways clear
• Keep well away from the crossing patrol
• Keep junctions clear
• Walk a little further if that is what it takes
• When ‘parking our bodies and dogs’ – keep the area round the front gate clear
• When cycling dismount before approaching the front gate
